Chemical Industries Association (CIA)
Vision: Welfare and Sustainable Growth of Chemical Industries and the Society.

CIA has been serving chemical industries for more than four decades as the industries’ knowledge partner and has been growing in its size with around 100 members.
CIA has been facilitating policy formulations through both State and Central government bodies and promoting development and deployment of appropriate strategies to execute for the benefit of all its stakeholders.
Objective and Services
The main objective of the Association is to unite all those engaged in manufacture of chemicals and other allied industries under one body and to achieve various mutual benefits that can be broadly classified as :

- Knowledge Partner
- Promoter of Training Institute : CSDC
- Honourimg the eminent persons
Representation to Government:
Collective representation to Government bodies both in State and Central level about the issues faced by its members and the sector .
Recommendation on strategic direction to Government for the sustainable growth of chemical sector along with for the welfare of all.
Knowledge Partner:
CIA has been the knowledge partner by organising regular seminars, conferences, exhibitions , training programs to all its members and to all professionals focusing on latest technologies, economic growth, social issues like job creation and environmental compliance/ best practices.
Promoter of Training Institute: CSDC
CIA having realized the necessity to reach to the next generation i.e. the students, have promoted Chem Skill Development Centre ( CSDC) , a non-profit training institute, in mid 2021 in partnership with other like-minded associations . CSDC’s main objective is to prepare the GenNext for the needs of the industry , by bridging the knowledge gap between academic institutions and expectations of the chemical industries .
CSDC program is run by a team of experts with decades of practical experience in various sectors such as operation, technical services, process safety, consultancy, finance . Further CSDC also conducts programs for mid-level executives working in the chemical industries to industrial executives
